In my 10th year as a physiotherapist, I have joined Tall Tree Health to provide physiotherapy in James Bay, Victoria, BC.

I graduated in 2010 from Western University with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. In 2007, I completed a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology at Michigan State University. While at MSU, I was a member of the rowing team and helped the Spartans win a Big Ten Championship and a 6th place finish at the NCAA Division 1 National Championships. I also worked as a personal trainer helping people meet their fitness goals. I know what it is like to perform at a high level, but also what it is like to have to build yourself back from injuries.

I have taken a ton of continuing education because I like staying up to date with the most recent evidence. I enjoy learning what works best for injuries and also matching that with what works for you.

I believe in using an active approach to build resiliency. I have completed additional training in Stott Pilates Rehab & Polestar Pilates Comprehensive Program for Rehabilitation. I also took courses in assessing movement options and I appreciate helping people manage and treat pain themselves.

I am is certified in Schroth 3-Dimensional Exercise Therapy for Scoliosis. Although Schroth works best with kids or adolescents with scoliosis who are still growing, I also enjoy treating adults with scoliosis and customizing their rehab based on their goals.

I also particular enjoy treating temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) disorder or jaw pain. I also have additional training in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS dry needling), chronic pain, acupuncture, manual therapy, rehab for the core, bone health, mindfulness, tai chi, pain management, and strengthening.

I look forward to helping you reach your goals.
